GRAN SASSOtest

From the foundations of a small family business, Maglificio Gran Sasso has emerged as an iconic International label with true Made in Italy authenticity at its heart.
Driven and inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of four brothers Nello, Eraldo, Alceo and Francesco Di Stefano, the journey began back in 1952 in the small Italian village of Sant’Egidio alla Vibrata, south of the border between Marche and Abruzzo.

Corneliani

Corneliani was founded in Mantua in the 1930s thanks to the visionary entrepreneurial spirit of Alfredo Corneliani, one of the Italian pioneers of men’s fashion, who began to produce handcrafted raincoats and outerwear, quickly gaining widespread acclaim. Production was then interrupted due to the Second World War and it was his sons, Claudio and Carlalberto, who founded Corneliani Spa in 1958, giving it a scope and identity that would distinguish it over the years as an outstanding Italian company and international benchmark in the menswear sector.

MONTECORE

The work of innovation, hence Montecore’s attitude, has always been to find new meeting points in fashion and, in particular, in outerwear, the brand’s iconic product. Transforming, changing, perfecting: the hybridisation that has made Montecore famous in Italy, as well as abroad, consists in having brought the workmanship and details of luxury, precious and sartorial, into men’s outwear

PAUL & SHARK

On 4 March 1957, the mill Maglificio Dacò, founded in 1921, opened its doors under the new owner Gian Ludovico Dini. Every aspect of the production took place within the company: from sourcing the yarns to producing the fabrics and making all the packaging. Clothes were shipped around the world thanks to prestigious partnerships with Christian Dior and Balenciaga.

In the early 1970s, Paolo (Paul) Dini, Gian Ludovico’s eldest son, during a trip to a small sailmaker’s workshop in Maine found a sail from an old 18th-century clipper that caught his attention: the inscription read “Paul&Shark”.

This is where it all began.

Paul&Shark is committed to reducing its impact and preserving the environment by developing its sustainability strategy on four pillars: the Save the Sea project, Circularity Solutions, Sustainable Processes and Technology, and Corporate Responsibility.
